Well I’m working on my relaunch of Buttman.com every day now. We have been up 3 weeks plus with 3 updates per week. We have a new look, much better presentation, and Hi Def downloads available.
I should be working on the Hi Def release of the Fashionistas Safado movies, but I am too busy, that multidisc set should be out by May or June.
I have on in the background the debate about Obama’s stimulus package. My comment is that if you take money from the people who earned it, thus preventing them from spending it on things they desire, and instead spend it in some politically decided way to “boost” the economy, what is happening is a net loss to Americans. Someone else has now decided how to spend more of our money and the value we will get will be less than what we would have gotten if we had spent it ourselves. That much is self evident. How giving this money now to special interest groups will make us better off is beyond me. Yes we will stimulate growth in the areas where the government spends this money, but it comes at the cost of discouraging growth in the areas where we, American citizens would have spent it if we had been able to keep it. This is why so many businesses are laying off people. People will have less to spend because the government will be taking more and they know business will now go down. They (politicians, pundits) are making the recession worse before the stimulus is even started.
And worst of all we are now penalizing people for working harder and earning more, and rewarding people with political connections.
